A Final Word for the Term!

Good afternoon, I thought I would do this one on its own as there are so many things to be said! Aladdin - Firstly, I would like to say a huge thank you to all of you for all of your support this semester and particularly throughout Aladdin. The children were amazing and I am so very proud of them all! Thank you for my lovely gift, it was very kind. Thank you to all of our amazing helpers, it was great working with you all and we are so appreciative of all that was done! If you donated any props to be used in the play, they are in the Hall ready to be collected. Thank you once again! Confirmation 2015 - If you have not sent in your paperwork, can I please ask that you do this a s soon as possible . I need to get it all collated ready for Father Ian. Also, please make sure that you are working on your letter to be given to your child at the Confirmation Retreat. This is extremely important for the children to receive and they treasure it so much. Week 11 is Here!

Good morning, Here is the Homework that has been assigned for this week.  Monday 29th June - Friday 3rd July - Week 11 Reading  –10-15 minutes each night. Diary  –the students are given time every day to write all appropriate notes in their diary. They are also able to take a photo if needed and then write their homework in at home. I ask that you check your child’s diary each night and  sign it .  Maths –  Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Module 5.4 – Page 39 Module 5.2 – Page 37 Module 2.3 – Page 11 Module 2.6 – Page 13 Times Tables  -  This is to be done to a maximum of  5 minutes each night  -  Students will be asked to record their score in their diary each night. Spelling  -students will complete a Look, Say, Cover, Write, Check of all of their list words using the given framework. I ask that their words are corrected, either by you or by the student. Cross Country - Week 8

Here are some shots from the Cross Country Carnival in Week 8! The students put in an awesome effort and demonstrated great sportsmanship and leadership! I was very proud of them all for putting in their best effort. It was a fantastic day! We were lucky the weather held...a huge thank you to all the parents that volunteered to help us out!

Good morning, Here is the modified Homework that has been assigned for this week.  Monday 22nd June - Friday 26th June Reading  –10-15 minutes each night. I ask that you check your child’s diary each night and  sign it .  Maths – There is no Maths set for this week due to Aladdin. Times Tables  - Focus is on 11 Times Tables this week.  This is to be done to a maximum of  5 minutes each night  -  Students will be asked to record their score in their diary each night. Monday -  Module   4.10 Page 34 Tuesday -  Module 4.11 Page 35 Wednesday -  Module 4.12 Page 36  Thursday -  Module 3.2 Page 19  This is done to a maximum of  15 minutes . Confirmation - Saint Research Project

Last week students started researching two Saints that they felt might be interesting and inspirational to them leading into our preparations for Confirmation 2015. These projects will be worked on by the students in class and will lead to them choosing one of the Saints that they have researched as their Saint name for Confirmation. It would be great if you could begin to share your experiences of your Confirmation with your child if applicable and ask them about their projects and why they have chosen those particular Saints to research.
