Year 6 OLC

Good morning everyone, We have had a fantastic start to the morning with the students already setting the bar exceptionally high! I am so pleased to see them all and I have been hearing about all the great things they got up to on their holidays...I think they are sad to be back at school! Confirmation 2016  - Please note that I have been given the date for Confirmation for 2016.  This year we will be celebrating the Sacrament of Confirmation on Sunday 7th August. If your child is unable to attend that date, can you please let me know as soon as possible. If this is the case, you will need to speak with Fr. Ian directly to organise another time for your child to be confirmed. We will be having our Confirmation Retreat Date on the Wednesday 3rd August. Further information will follow closer to the date. Swimming Lessons - forms will be sent home this afternoon and these need to be returned by Tuesday 2nd February. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated!. A

Good afternoon, I hope that you have all enjoyed a restful break with your families and I hope you are feeling as excited as I am about the year ahead!  I am very much looking forward to having your beautiful children for this year, getting reacquainted with them and seeing how much they have been learning! Please see below for a few important housekeeping items . Year 6 Blog  -  I have found that this is a highly effective way for me to deliver information to students and parents. As it is always there, it is also an easy reference point. Each week I will post the assigned homework for the week on the blog. Students will be given time in class to write in their diary their homework for the night but I have found that this is a great source of additional information. I will post on a Monday by lunchtime and I will always send an email letting you know that a post has been added to the blog on any topic.
